Originally from China, he has spent the last two decades cooking in Danish and international restaurants in Copenhagen – and honed his skills as a sushi chef at Sticks’n’Sushi for five years.
Today, Zhaoye Li works his magic in his kitchen at Seaside, where he crafts wonderful nigiri and kaburimaki. By combining Japanese techniques with Nordic ingredients, he creates innovative variations that combine both cultures.
The small, refined bites bursting with fresh flavors are ideal for sharing at social gatherings. That’s why Marina also offers a Deluxe Combo, perfect for sharing and enjoying together.
The menu also offers other delicious dishes inspired by the East. We recommend a fresh poke bowl with salmon, tuna and whitefish or a Vietnamese seafood salad with lots of aromatic Thai basil and coriander.
