The countdown is on for this year's big Sankt Hans celebration at Seaside. Join us for an evening of summer flavours, live music, a crackling bonfire and everything that makes the day so very special.
Sankt Hans is one of our absolute favourite days of the year. It's the perfect opportunity to get together with friends and family and enjoy a wonderful summer evening together. At Seaside, we always celebrate midsummer with a big bonfire, singing, great food & lovely summer vibes. We have put together a program full of activities. We look forward to seeing you!
Program
Great tunes from our DJs
From 12.00, Morten Stoffer will kick off the festivities with atmospheric tunes. And the party continues until 01:00 with DJ Arnbak.
Flower-wreath workshop with Bucketbloom
From 13.00 - 19.00, you can try your hand at creating a flower wreath with Julie from BucketBloom. We will provide all the materials for you to tie a beautiful flower wreath and it is entirely for free. The event takes place on the quay and seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Live concert with Samir & The Buskers
From 18.00 - 21.00 Samir & The Buskers will be playing great live music for you to enjoy during dinner.
Lighting of the Sankt Hans bonfire
We will light the bonfire at 21:00 and enjoy the beautiful cackling bonfire. Lighthouse Gospel will sing the traditional 'Midommervise' followed by a number of their favourite songs. Lighthouse Gospel is a local, ambitious and experienced gospel choir that sings contemporary gospel. They will be spreading good vibes across the harbour front.
Danish crayfish from Ocean Bar
At Ocean Bar you will find Lasse Nordow, who loves to cook and eat everything good from the sea. On this day he is serving a special Sankt Hans dish w/ Danish signal crayfish, grilled lettuce, dill & aioli.
Flap steak & chorizo from Patagonia Grill
Daniel Matthies and Juan Alvarez are masters of simple Argentinian meat dishes with a special smoky flavour and mouth-watering aroma. On this day they will be serving flap steak and chorizo grilled over open fire on the dock.
Pop-up bars
Both Aperol and Blanc will be stopping by Seaside to serve you ice-cold spritzers and beers on the quay. We also serve fresh cocktails and chilled wine in our own outdoor bar. Grab a drink and relax in a sunchair overlooking the water.
Reserve your seat for Sankt Hans
We recommend that you book your table now if you want to secure a table on the terrace or indoors. However, we also have high tables, bench seating and sunchairs on the quay that cannot be reserved in advance. So even if you haven't booked a table, you can still drop by and get a front row seat.
